“What is the theatre made of?  What is its matter, and what is the matter with it?”  This is the organizing principle behind The Central School of Speech and Drama’s “Theatre Materials/Material Theatres” conference, which took place April 17-18 in London.  One of the conference’s three key themes is sustainability in the theater; roundtable discussions include: “Greening the Theatre”.

The conference will be fully documented and archived by an international team of dramaturges.  GTI will post updates and materials as they become available.
