Gideon Banner is the founder and chief editor of the Green Theater Initiative.  Growing up in Santa Monica, CA, a city afflicted profoundly by both air and water pollution, he became acutely aware of our impact on the environment. He was a co-founder of Blue Man Group’s Environmental Committee, responsible for greening Blue Man’s practices throughout its worldwide operations.  As a professional actor, he has appeared on stage at Lincoln Center, Manhattan Theatre Club, the Old Globe, a number of other New York and regional theaters, on film, television, and radio, and has performed with Blue Man Group in various locations in the United States and abroad.
